Wow no reviews on this? Odd.

<3 EVGA. Knock that price down to $399 and they will sell everything they can make!

Too bad no quad-SLI, but I hope this will start bringing out more lower-end chips in dual-gpu setups. Gotta start somewhere...

And WOW that is a long card... Guess its the only way they could fit the three fans without going triple-slot.

$400+ is a bit high imho.

for a card that WILL sometimes perform as $170,

and

will suffer from the microstuttering that is still not yet resolved with the current generation and multi-GPU scaling that does not work for at least 15% of games out there that are usually not included in benchmark reviews.

there's been several threads about people sharing their experiences with "micro stutter". you will see 99% of all that responded said they don't notice anything. i've had every dual gpu card and never had a problem with it. well... i never got the 6690 since i went 6970 cf this time, but still, no micro stutter.

Give it 10 years, they will probably be selling on ebay for $20.

$400+ for a video card - no thank you. I will have to wait until prices come down a lot.

I paid 400.00 for a newly launched 6800GT. Bought it at CompUSA. Not even an Ultra mind you. The GT.

"Micro-stutter" is a buzz-word from the 4870x2/GTX295 days that just wont die it seems. I have had multi-gpu setups from both camps, and have yet to experience this.

I'v had multi GPU setups from 8800 on to 5770's (haven't had any multi GPU since) And noticed micro-stutter at one point or another, on the same setup though my friend noticed no micro-stutter. It varies from person to person. It still exists but some are more receptive to it then others. Maybe it has something to do with age and eyesight? :p

The length is a big negative for the target market of this card. Wonder what they were thinking!

2 Win, huh? They should make an overclocked Charlie Sheen 2 Winning version.

Nah, Sheen is on the elevator down. Front page of NY Daily News the other day had a big "LOSING" with Sheen's photo.

I'd like to see some performance numbers for this card.

Yeah I am aware of the prevailing opinion among dual gpu users. SLI vs Xfire etc etc. However I think I am cursed with True Vision, and would end up in 1% u mentioned. And even if not so, profile support would still be an issue.

quickie: Crysis 2 - SLI and xfire both have probs, and I wanna play it now not 3 months later.

Voodoopower taking 15% of dual gpus is generous imho.

I'm not having any problems with Crysis II, SLI . Do you have a dual gpu setup ?

Too expensive. 460 SLI can be had for much less.

for people with only 1 pcie x16 slot or those using a micro atx board it's a good deal. i built a cheap gaming machine for a friend's kid with an asrock that only had 1 pcie x16 slot. i put a gtx 465 in there, but this is a nice card to drop in there. plus it just looks damn cool!
