NewEgg for Canada?

I remember hearing them mentioning that they were planning on opening up a NewEgg for Canada, but I haven't heard anything about it in a while.

Does anyone have any recent information on the subject? I'll be prowling google. =D

I think they decided you hosers weren't worth all the trouble, eh?

LOL! Might be better to write to them, than to ask here...your odds of getting an intelligent KNOWLEGDEABLE answer would be vastly improved...

Well, there's a NewEgg rep here, so I figured I'd try. 🙂

just use NCIX - they're the best I've found in Canada for CS and they have pricematching to equal any other prices (plus, no PST for us Ontarians)

Just use NCIX or your local retailer. They all have sales/deals, only thing Canadians could get out of a Canadian Newegg is an extra competitor an a brand. Can sommeone remind me why people still prefer newegg even if they have local stores in the US? Something about being screwed over?

I just like choice. I know I have NCIX and TigerDirect, but honestly, TD is hardly an option. I'd like to be able to go to two different websites and pick the lowest price on an item. Also, I've found NewEgg to be pretty discriptive of their hardware. I'd rather not have to go do some research to see if a board is compatible.

Hey all,

We don't really have any official information on when we'll be serving our Canadian neighbors. However, you can be sure it's still an option that management has not forgotten.

If we get any updated information on the subject, we'll definitely let everyone know.
