Newegg/Fedex question

Mookow

Lifer
How many failed attempts to deliver will FedEx make before they just drop it off at my house? The packages were shipped from Newegg.com via "Fedex Express Saver", and are worth ~$100 each. Is there any way I can get FedEx to drop them off on the next attempt (there was one attempt this afternoon, which failed, because WTF is home at 2:30 on a Wens?)?

You can sign a waiver with FedEx...they will just drop them off. No sig required.

Signature on file.

Thats what I did. I order 20 packages a year from newegg. They know me by name now!

Basically FedEx is covering its butt, if they leave a package without your written waiver, they are responsible for
replacing it, if its stolen. So they usually don't leave it, especially expensiver stuff. Around here, after
2 unsuccessful drops, they make you pick it up at their pickup center.

They will leave a sticker on your door. Just sign it and leave it for them. If you want a signature waiver, check that box.
