Newegg doesn't combine shipping?

if i buy multiple items, the shipping doesn't get combined to a lower rate?
do they ship it separately?
i might as well place multiple orders then, rather than combining into one :|

Depends on the items. Sometimes they are shipped together, sometimes they are drop-shipped from other warehouses.

I wouldnt complain considering neweggs cheapest prices on just about anything, and on alot of their computer hardware its free shipping.

But no, they dont combine, they treat as if each piece was separate.

I would definitely have to agree. My sister works for a hardware vendor and can sell me items without the markup. Newegg can sell me items cheaper than she can, impressive.

Someone told me that newegg is a 'start up company' that had a ton of money invested in it to keep it going, often operating with loss leaders, or break evens until it got it's customer base secure and could start showing a profit. If they combined shipping, they would lose too much money.
