Newegg "discontinues" 780i Asus P5N-T Deluxe!

Asus P5N-T Deluxe "deactivated" at Newegg!

I've resolved issues with mine; but when I see this I wonder what's in store for this board. Several possibilities I guess. Best case scenario, perhaps they're getting new stock with latest bios (which solved many issues) and plan to reintroduce with zero reviews? Clean slate? Worst case, a sign Asus plans to dump the board? Or could it just be a business decision to drop it due to poor sales and reviews?

(Feels sudden urge to get rid of board)

Well if it works for you why would you get rid of it? I've got the striker 2 formula and so far I'm satisfied with it. The price was above what I wanted to pay however I chose to not cheap out this time around with my mb which is what I did last time when I got a 650i instead of the 680i.

If you do decided to get another mb the evga ftw line is now available and it has all hard caps. That is what I really wanted when I got the striker but it wasn't available yet. I've got another machine running on an evga 780i sli a1 and it's doing fine as well.

I'll keep it but it but I am concered about resale value and support if there are EOL plans.

Newegg has been doing this practice more frequently with newly released products. All the different items I had tracked usually showed back up in about a weeks time.

Interesting. Did they bring it back with old feedback/rating or was it with zero feedback?

Usually with previous feedback still intact, unless there is a rework of a model to warrant a new item number.
