It's not that we're assholes natively, but do you expect people to believe you when you say you CAN'T give a link, and when you say simply uploading an image somehow distorts it, and when you say an image host couldn't even hold one whole .jpg? Everything just leads us to believe it's fake. I'm not saying you're lying, just saying everything really seems to be pointing in that direction.

I uploaded the screen shots to pics.bbzzdd.com, but they're still crappy. I've never used online image hosting before, so maybe I'm doing something wrong. They're as clear as day on my end.

Well I believe it. Pics seem real enough, and when you go to www2.newegg.com you need to log in with an account with the proper permission to see the page. That would explain why you couldn't link us.

No problem. Sorry the images aren't more clear. I just Surf the net & Play games. I don't mess around with pictures, html, etc., so I'm not still kind of learning. Maybe the size was just too large and they had to shrink it down in order for me to upload it.

It's definatly real. I got the promo email too. Supposedly one of 200. I came to these forums and searched "newegg beta" and found this thread.

I run a small business and I spent about 15k at newegg in 04. That may be why.

I have the same kind of history with NE, but no offer. My bet is that they really did randomly select.

And frankly, that's ugly and counterintuitive, compared to their current way of doing things.
