The outpost 400 + 400 for $200 was much better, and no taxes.

Exactly. Me and my buddy grabbed (2) of the retail 400gb Seagate drives 2 weeks agao when outpost had the 400gb's SATA/IDE for $99 / $89 shipped each.

Be great for JBOD or RAID 0

Almost hot, I'd still rather go with the 320GB 7200.10s, cheaper per GB.

Why not do the outpost 400gig sata $99 shipped...

Because he doesn't have a time machine?

bass ackwards thinking?

consider thinking forward[/]. i know you're just trying to be funny but i think he meant just wait until the $99 deal comes again, which it will... again... and again

...and again even cheaper.

Thats what ill probably wait for. I really want a 400-500 giger to make a HTPC and play all my anime/DVDs on it and watch it on a plasma TV.

You should know better than to trust the sales-driven WD marketers over the independent, silence-driven reviewers at SPCR.

Trust your own ears; or if you can't afford to buy and listen to all the drives then trust SPCR's ears.
