I cut and paste the email right into the post so read from the bottom up. I also took my real name out so that?s why you see X's. The second email was kind of repetitive but the first response didn?t actually say if they would carry the case. It only said they did not have it now.....which I knew :) (Unlike some silly users I tend to use the search functions). I'm not sure why newegg isn?t going to carry this case. It seems like a ton of people want it and IMHO it?s a bad marketing decision not to carry it.

On newegg.com you can fill out a little form that suggests products for them to carry. I filled the form out but I doubt they listen to them. Overall, lately I get the feeling that newegg has become a little to big for there britches. If I didn?t have the gift certificate for there site I would have probably just bought the case at zipzoomfly to begin with.

Do you have plans to carry the Antec p180? This is the latest case from Antec and it is already available at some of your competitor's (buy.com and zipzoomfly.com just to name two.) websites. Product link is as follows..

http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=81800

Please let me know if you plan to carry this product as I would like to purchase it ASAP and would prefer to apply a newegg gift certificate that I already have towards this purchase.

Thanks for your time,

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Well, from what I remember, cases tend to be more expensive at newegg so I could care less if they don't carry it. i'm sure they eventually will.

Seems like Newegg just doen't have the same team running things anymore. Seems a couple of years ago they always had the newest stuff first. Now they seem to either be way behind, or not even know about the items. I have been using ZZF for most of my latest purchases.

Was wondering if ABS is planning to use the 180 on some of their systems. They likely get first call on available inventory.

Wow, that case is beautiful! I hope NewEgg would pick it up, I tend to prefer using them vs. other websites.

I asked the same thing about the Thermaltake Soprano cases, and got almost that exact response. However, the cases showed up on NewEgg.com about a week later. :)

That's actually what I kind of figured would happen. I told them I wanted to purchase ASAP just to try and provoke a since of urgency. The truth of the matter is I'm pretty happy with the lanboy that this case will replace so I'm not replacing it unless I get a good deal on the p180. To me that means using the gift certificate I already have for newegg.

I ordered the last P180 from Zipzoomfly. Newegg hadn't a clue when they would get it in and I was sick of waiting. Snooze you loose Newegg.

Just thought I would post that newegg finally has this in stock...

Linky

The price is complete crap though. $149.00 + $15.99 s/h. Way to compete newegg! Even with my $30 gift card its still going to be cheaper here!

"Way to compete??"
I got my P180 delivered for less than Newegg wants to charge for the case alone, and I received it on June 16, three weeks before Newegg even listed it. It that's competing, I'll eat my hat. That's not to say I don't love Newegg. I do, and I ordered most of the components for my new rig from them, but they've certainly dropped the ball on the P180. They also forced me to order my XP120 heatsink elsewhere because their price was ridiculously high -- 37% above the competition. So, Newegg's great, but they're not perfect.

I think you missed my sacasm lol. The only reason I was holding out for newegg to get the case in is the $30 gift cert for them. If I didnt have that I would have ordered the case long ago from someone else.

Doesn't anyone deal with any local parts suppliers?

I could get this case quite easily from my parts supplier just down the street...I got my Wavemaster from them.
