I'm semi-impressed. Of all the ads so far, this is the only one that's had anything that even remotely caught my eye.

Definitely some good deals in there. Like XavierMace already mentioned, there deals leading up to this were "blah". The Asus Z270-A Prime for $99, and the Acer 1440p monitor on the first page have my attention. Heck even the MSI GTX 1070 for $399 is the lowest it's been in a while due to mining.

Might have to do some shopping there when the deals go live.

I was going to pick up a 1TB MX300 for my parents since that was one of the few decent deals on the ad. However, as of 12 hours prior to them going on sale, they are out of stock. Which makes me suspicious. Fortunately the drive was the same price on Amazon and actually in stock and I don't have to wait. So I just ordered it there instead. Then I started checking the few other deals I was moderately interested in as well as some I wasn't and after further research I'm less enthusiastic. The actual discount off normal pricing on most of the items I checked isn't that great. IE the Samsung SL-C480FW for $119.99 "save $230". $174.99 is the normal price for it so the only actual savings is the $55 promo code. Still not a bad price, but far less impressive. The Corsair H60 for $49.99 "save $40" is actually only $20 off the normal price. The Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 for $13.89 "save $26.10" is actually regular price but with a $10 MIR.

Admittedly this probably should go without saying, but check pricing history before jumping on a "deal".

The NAS I wanted, that was in the flyer for the sale starting this afternoon, went out of stock earlier this morning. before the sale started. Coincidence?

Keep checking. There were several items that were listed as "sold out", and when I looked later on, they were available again.

Indeed. Good advice, I was re-checking it and it converted over to "pre-order". So it'll ship ETA 11/23, which I can deal with. And it was indeed the BF price - normaly $330, down to $300, down to $270 w/ the code from the flyer.

Woot, happy again :)

I didn't bother checking right at the start of the sale since I already bought one of Amazon, but the MX300 is again (or still) showing Sold Out.

That one is. But Amazon and B&H still have it in stock, at the sale price if anybody needs one.

The gtx1070 I was looking it showed "sold out" before the sale started, but it was in stock for the first day of sale of sale at least (I haven't checked it since). I'm glad I ordered that one, the only thing close on amazon was an msi aero for an extra $9.

The Qnap TS-251+ NAS is back in stock at the moment if anyone cares. $269.99 with code. Good deal on this NAS, and a good NAS if you need one.
