Newegg barebone?

I'm thinking of upgrading my computer for cheap. Anyway, Newegg has a refurbished ECS K7S5A board for $38. Now, the pages said it's a 'barebone', with no 'accesories' included. WHat 'accessories' are they talking about here? If it's just floppy cables and stuff, I already have that (rounded ones to boot!) Manuals can be downloaded from ECS site (in fact I already did.) Does this package comes with everything I need to put it together? I mean, I've never built an Athlon board before, so I don't know if there's, you know, small stuffs that turned out to be rather important. Like CPU bracket that was missing from my current BX board that was really hard to find. (that was so long ago!)

Also the ECS site listed there's 2 version of K7S5A, version 1.x and 3.x. The newegg page doesn't say anything about this, so how do I know which version this board is? WHat's the difference between the two versions anyway?

This board would work with Athlon XP2100+, right? And I assume this combo would be noticeably faster than my current Celery 566@850? I'll be reusing my 512mb of PC133 RAM, that's the only way I can afford this upgrade.

Is Newegg refurbished board any good? Is ECS K7S5A board good? Reviews of it seem to be good. Any issues I should know of?

Correct, prolly just the cables, manuals, and drivers.

I imagine there is no way to know without buying it.... Check ECS's site for the diff's.

Well, think about it like this.... the board is prolly just a board that was sent out to another user who hooked it up couldn't get it to work,
RMA'ed back to newegg, newegg couldn't find anything wrong with it so they are selling it again. It might work great, but you really don't know what that first buyer did to it so you take your chances. I personally don't like ECS too much but they'll work if your not an overclocker.

Can I use the I/O plate that's currently on my computer? It's currently has a BX board.

Is there any other Athlon board that accepts PC133?
 
The K7S5A has connectors that your current I/O plate might not have. (some do, you just have to punch out the holes but many don't) - LAN connection, audio, etc.
