Newegg has their ATI 9800 pro's 256MB, 256bit cards for sale for ONLY $223. This is actually cheaper than the 128MB version.

i didnt really have the 223, 300 was too much for me; and my system couldnt take the GT

now i need some more ram, maybe in acouple of months

Thanks for the post. Just picked one up!!! Been flirting with buying a 9800pro w/ 128 megs the last two days. Probably would have bought one in the next 24-48 hours. For a few extra bucks I get the chance to bump this one up to a 9800XT.

Now if I can just find a GREAT deal on a AMD64 3000+ ;-)

(only $223 for a 9800XT!!!!!!!!!! . . . ! . . . it ain't half as slow as the 6800u or the x800xt-PE_

I always get my money back. You have to be willing to use physical force and let them know that, the manager then not wanting to have his arm broken has the authority to give the refund.
