Didnt' anyone notice the Quattro 850W for $129.99 shipped after rebate?
Or the BFG 800W for $99.99 shipped after rebate? 😉

good stuff 😉

That's a solid PSU with great reviews. They also offer a 680W version with x8 USB ports on the back:

With the discount, the 880W version comes out to be the same price (roughly $150) 🙂

Anyone here have a time machine? I would like to go back about 1.5 months to pick up a couple more CoolerMaster RealPower 850Ws 🙁 (~$50AR)

Hrmm. Not bad, but I don't think I need a 1000w PSU myself. Now I am torn between that 880 hiper and the 750w PC power and cooling model on the egg for $150. Between those at a $10 diff (hiper is $10 cheaper) which is the better choice?

The TPQ-1000 was on sale for $139.99 after MIR a few weeks ago and it didn't get much attention, maybe it was because it was ZZF or something. Anyways I got the TPQ-850W for this price a few weeks ago from NE and its a great PSU. AT did a review and I think they said there was only ~52W difference between the two on the 12V rail. There have been lower prices for other 850W+ PSUs out there, but none of them were with modular cabling. Not a big deal for a lot of people, but I was able to clear 4 leads and clean up my case considerably upgrading to a modular PSU.

Be cautious if you are going to use an SLI build with one of these. I bought a Quattro 850w for use with my new rig, only my gaming was very very slow on it with SLI. After a lot of research on guru3d and slizone, I found out that these power supplies have some problems with SLI builds. I replaced it with a Gamersxtreme power supply and no problems since.

Thread to my problems on guru3d and the solution.
