Was wondering how the stock was going. Stuck at work and both sites are blocked.

If it is anything like the 680, better load up on launch day boys.

Gigabyte is now OOS! First casualty on Newegg!

Gigabyte sold out before Evga at Amazon and Newegg. How often has that happen? Kudos to Gigabyte for hooking people up today. They could have went with a $420 msrp and still sold just as many units.

Had good overclocking results on OCN forums, I have one coming tomorrow. Will do a clock vs clock test at 1440p.

I guess I'm not surprised that Gigabyte sold out first on Newegg. I looked the cards up, and they're the only manufacturer with a custom cooler at MSRP. Galaxy has a custom cooler as well, but I believe they were $430. At least from what I've seen, that style of cooler tends to outperform the blower style.

You guys are seriously reading into things too much. You have no idea how many cards were allocated to each AIB, and to each (r)etailer. For all you know they sent 10 gigabyte cards to them and 50 EVGA.

At some danish stores you can see stock live. And they are indeed seeling like hotcakes. And even small stores got atleast 100. Saw one with 450.

I wouldnt be surprised if they are all sold out before monday.

I think a lot of people learned and are a bit scared after the 680's. If they think long they may not get one even if the supply is more abundant the first day sales are probably going to be huge.

I got the galaxy because the fans are fewer (2 vs 3) but larger (more air/less noise). Of course, that assumes all else is equal with the fan construction, etc. I hate loud GPUs...

That and because the 670 is so close in terms of performance, a good amount of the 680 pent-up demand will spill-over to 670 purchases.

I was worried when the person on the phone with Amazon canceled my normal EVGA they would be OOS when she tried to add the superclock version and i would be stuck with none hah.

Wondering how long Tiger Direct will hold my funds for the MSI card i ordered on the 9th.

Ah ya i got that one from Amazon, is newegg OOS on it now?

NewEgg charges me tax (my office is only 5 miles from them)... So I rather get it on AMAZON or elsewhere... If I get a regular GTX 670 on NewEgg tax is about $35... might as well use it towards an OC card with no tax! :awe:
