Newegg - 8GB GDDR5 K520 GRID PCI-E x16 card $37? Worth anything? (No video outputs!)

I assume that these were the GPUs that supported virtualization. My biggest question would be the drivers. There are 3rd-party NV drivers, for otherwise not-supported cards.

Please don't move this to Hot Deals, at least, not until it's confirmed that it would be worth more than just scrap to a consumer. (IE. supported by drivers for non-server Windows.)

Interesting. From the looks of it, they may be useful for compute tasks, but not graphics, as the picture shows no video outputs. So the only use I could see for a desktop would be for someone doing DC/mining/other compute. Maybe someone from the DC forums would be interested?

Jeff just tested Kepler GRID and concluded it's adios time. This is the TLDW from his latest video series -

Nearly four years ago, I started looking at VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) through Nvidia's GRID tools. It's a system that allows your to bifurcate a GPU, essentially running multiple 3D Accelerated Desktops from a single graphics card. While most official uses revolve around Desktop and Office environments, I've always wanted to use it to play games. And thus, the Cloud Gaming Server Project was born!As such, I've collected a HUGE number of Nvidia and AMD Enterprise GPUs, and over the next few videos, I'm going to be benchmarking them all. Head to head, which GPU is worth your money, and which ones should you leave on the eWaste pile.
