I noticed on Newegg, there's only a 3 dollar difference between the retail and OEM version....
Wouldn't I just pay the 3 bucks and get the stock HSF...maybe to use on my old 1.4 tbird....

or is there a reason (performance, locking) to get the OEM?

Mine's coming tomorrow =) Who wants my sticker? I have about 10 of these things... I think they're breeding cause I've only bought 5 processors in the past year.

The retail ($84) is cheaper that than the OEM ($90). Is there any reason not to buy the retail? You don't have to use the sink/fan, right? I am going to drop coin today! Thanks!

Retail carries a 3 year warrany, OEM does not. The heatsink is required to be included with the processor if an RMA is made.
