I know that ppl usually get AIRGA for 1700+ T'bred..
but I got RIRGA..
It seems to oc very well..

AXDA1700DLT3C
RIRGA

currently oc'ed 1700+ to 2000+ @1.6v ( 0.1v up from 1.5v)
I know I can push it higher.. but I don't know how to make vcore go up more..
anyone have the same stepping?
How did it oc?

well you know my palomino xp1600 does 1743 on default voltage, so thats hardly a good oc from somthing that should be overclocking a lot better by now

One difference that might be worth mentioning..the difference is power used from the .18uf XP1600+to the .13 XP1700 is enough to run a Compact Flourescent lightbulb 😉 (in the .13's favor)

Not to mention less stress on your power supply and onboard voltage regulators 😉

my 1700+ T'bred RIRGA works @1700 mhz with 1.6V..
But whenever I try 3dmark bench, it freezes...
I think it will be very stable if I increase Vcore to 1.625V..
I'm 99.99% sure that with 1.85 vcore, it will run @1900mhz

If anyone has T'bred with the same stepping, let me know how well it oc's..

Gentle Bump - I want to know more about this Stepping. Never seen it before so How does it perform Vs. other steppings?

Can anyone shed ANY light on this RIRGA stepping?

Ive been searching non-stop for 2 days to find out. The best vendor I can find for the UK is selling generally RIRGA 1800+'s for about £50. Damn cheap for us UK'ers.

The RIRGA's have actually been out for some time, and are the best performing low PR Tbred A steppings available. I bought a Tbred A as soon as it was available (early November) and it was a Week 32 AIRGA; A few weeks later people started getting RIRGA week 42 or later, and they did much, much better, hitting 1.8ghz easily and some hitting 2ghz. The 1800+ RIRGA's all seem to be doing 2ghz with relative ease on air cooling.

It looks as if the 1700+ Tbred A's are in the process of being replaced by low-bred Tbred B's with a JIUGB or JIUHB stepping (week 51 or so). Early indications are that they aren't doing much better than the best TBred A 1800+ RIRGA's, about 2ghz.

I just plunked in a 2100+ Tbred B AIUHB week 48, and its a totally different story. I'm at 2430 now, and I still think I have room to go. Its about 2x as much as a 1700+, but for me the extra mhz and headroom was worth it.

😛 I haven't said anything about that monster sitting in my Socket A for a full day now 😛

I'm just waiting for more people to pop em in so I can compare results 😀
