Whats the word on Sandforce nowdays? The only drives i hear dying are sandforce drives (had a Sandisk die on me myself). Never bought another sandforce and have no problems. I hear from other system builders that pretty all their SSD failures are sandforce based. At $60 no MIR though this is pretty darn low.

The stories that I've heard from others is that the Sandforce bugs have been fixed. I figure that at $60, I can grab two, put them in a RAID 1, and hopefully survive a Sandforce bug to one of the two SSDs, if they're still around.

Side note: In my research, I also found out that 3 weeks ago, Kingston released firmware 5.0.3, which is supposed to fix TRIM on this SSD.

Excellent deal, but went out of stock way too soon. Hate it when companies do this. What's the point of putting something up for sale, advertising you have that sale, only for people to find out an hour earlier that the item is out of stock?

If you're gonna be selling something make sure you at least have a good quantity of it.
