Exactly. For people who are not "connoisseurs" of beer (I am not), Newcastle is great. Once you have had better beer though, it puts things into perspective. I enjoy drinking both Yuengling and Newcastle myself but at the same time I know there are much better beers out there.

Yuengling is an Amber lager & Newcastle is a Brown ale... they are brewed with different yeast & using a different process ... aside from the fact that both are indeed beer & are a similar color, they are very different & really shouldn't be directly compared beyond saying you like one more then the other.

I personally tend to like ale's more then lagers because they have stronger flavor, while lager is (intentionaly) a cleaner & drier tasting beer with less aftertaste.

I am stuck on Wellington lately.. A local brewery from Guelph, ON.. But man do they have some good brews.

I dont like Yuenglin, it tastes like Killians red and Miller lite blended together. I like both Killians red and Miller lite, but not when a beer tastes like both put together.

$10.99 for case of 12 at How's market. not sure how big of a chain they are but i know there's one on Huntington near rosemead (same area as B-Man's and Baskin Robbins). Price good 'til Tues. the 17th.

Also, $10.99 at RiteAid. and while you're there, grab a bottle of Grey Goose for $24.99, 750ml (though that's not the cheapest i've seen the Goose. i think it was as low as $21.99 before, but rare). Prices good 'til Thurs. the 19th.
