I think I overclocked my P4T/P4 1.5 to a speed of 1.645 by upping the core voltage a bit. Using CPUID to monitor. Is that all there is to it? Can I go higher safely?

forgive me if I misunderstood you but you can't o'clock your cpu by just increasing Vcore. you have to increase your fsb to o/clock an intel cpu!

ok, I put the core voltage back to where it was, and increased the fsb to 115. Now it's running at 1724 mhz. Does that sound ok? HELP! [ It DOES seem to be running ok.]

can only guide you here as all cpus are different but try slowly increasing the fsb till things get unstable ie no post, windows won't load or windows crashes then lower your fsb to previous stable value. a voltage bump at the unstable fsb may stabilise your o/clock! better cpu cooling may also help high fsb o/clocking stability.
good luck.

Just remember to have good colling, and dont get TOO wild with the voltage bumping, would be a shame to toast such an expensive toy no? :)
