Newbie Windows Mobile Questions

I'm very new to the smartphone world (if this is considered a smartphone). I have had a Sidekick for a couple years now, and decided to broaden my horizons.

The past couple of days I've had a lot of fun learning the file structure, etc, and getting to know my phone. but I have just a couple questions.

I have several themes loaded, but whenever I restart my phone, they never seem to stick (always goes to default), anyone know how to get around this?

Also, I am subscribed for the data plan, but I can't ever seem to access anything online, unless I'm connected to the wi-fi. (I've tried when I had full reception, and it showed the 'E' icon up top, I assume that means EDGE).

Anyone have any inspiration for me?

On my last WM phone, whenever I changed the theme and then restarted the phone, the phone would start with the new theme. Not sure if this is a bug with your phone.

If you're subscribed to the data plan you should be able to access websites using edge. Since you're already seeing the "E", I'm guessing this is a problem with tmobile, so I would call them to fix it.

Yep, give them a shout & they'll go over your settings to ensure you're getting what you paid for.

I've always been pleasantly surprised by their CSR's, and honestly they're the only reason I stay with tmobile.

Enjoy your Dash, I have one & bought one for my daughter too, she loves it, and told me the other day she doesn't want another iPod since she figured out how to use the Dash.
