Newbie ?: What can I do with a Linksys VPN endpoint?

What kind of things can I do with a linksys VPN endpoint?
Can I run NetBeui so that I access shared files? (shared on the inside network)
Can I print to a printer on the inside network?


Anything else beside remote control of a machine?
