I'm trying to OC my Celeron 433 to 585. It passes the POST fine but when I try to boot to Win2k it freezes. I tried all the voltage settings with the same result.
I'm wondering if lack of cooling is the problem. The temperature of the CPU only went up by 5 degrees to 45 Celsius.
If I do need cooling, can anyone recommend some innexpensive, yet effective options (I'd like to spend less money than if I was to just buy a faster CPU)
Here are the specs:
Celeron 433
MSI 6163Pro motherboard
128mb PC133 Generic RAM
Stock CPU Fan & Heatsink
Thanks.
