Newbie to RAID need help

I am trying to setup a RAID on 2 60GB hard drives and I was wondering if I should put them on the same channel or different channel. Also I have 2 other hard drives but they will not be put on RAID. I also need to know which size cluster is better (eg. 64, 32....).
