Newbie to OC'ing - How much can I oc a duron 800??

I plan on getting the msi k7vpro2a/duron800/antec sx1030b. Just wondering how high I could OC this system (just curious to see how much money I could save if I actually got into oc'ing)...

Probably 1GHz. You never know until you try though because each chip has a different potential.

i would have to say a solid 1ghz, only going by what i have read on, i havent tried it with that chip/board combo, but alot of people have reported big overclocks with them

Your better off getting a T-bird 750 almost all of them do a gig and alot of them do 1100mhz

ya, 1ghz would probably be teh speed youll get from that duron
