The Router?s manual; should state the User ID and Password to access the Router.

It is done through the Internet Browser by typing the Router?s local IP to the address bar.

You have to set Sharing permissions on all Networked computers.

Log to this page it has a lot of links to instructions to Windows Network Settings, and Sharing.

Link to: Windows Network - Installing & Sharing.

There are two kind of security settings that are Independent one from the other.

1. Wireless Security, see here: http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Security.html

2. Internet connection security, see here: http://www.ezlan.net/firewall.html

Thanks alot, I installed Norton Internet security, I have 60 days free. But all it did was screw everything up, I no Internet access. So I uninstalled it. Then my computer randomly locked up twice, everything seems fine after the second reboot.

Norton is an evil, bloated peice of rubbish capable of crippling even the fastest PCs. It clings to your machine like a virus, parts of it holding on until you finally give up and reformat the whole disk.
