newbie to Athlon XP...will it work on Asus A7V133/a?

This might be a stupid question, but I'm new to the Athlon XP architecture. Will it work on my Asus A7V133?

yes, its the same socket-A 462 pin design. Only thing that has changed is the packaging and some cpu core features have been added. You just need to flash your BIOS so it can recognize it as an XP. Try 1007, that seems to be the one A7V133 people are using.
