I have recently begun the process of learning how to build a computer. This site and forum have been indispensible. This is a first class site; no question.

But, it is very hard for me (and i will assume others as well) to keep up with the amount of new product releases. For example, i have been looking for a new gigabyte mobo. Your site can list them (with filters via bizrate) in an orderly fashion...however for someone like me trying to cut through the alphabet soup of acrynoms and PRODUCT NAMES (eg, Gigabyte X74RJR838) it is very hard to keep track and even more difficult to learn each manufacturers naming patterns.

Here is my suggestion: As a search filter, please add Date Released (descending). This filter would be great for finding out which products have recently been introduced. This is the page i am referring to:

Now take a look at another first class website. I think something like this would be very useful, esp. considering the huge number of products your team deals with:

Powered by Bizrate.com ... it's a revenue source (an ad driven guide) for AT, not their own feature.

Yes, but that does not matter.
It is a new feature request. i just pointed out the bizrate connection for clarity purposes.

There is too much nomenclature clutter....descending date order gives a good, different perspective.

If I gave you two motherboards part names can you easily tell me which is the newer model??
