Hello all,
Sorry to bug you guys with such a simple request but i am setting up a home network for the first time. The layout of my house means that i have to go wireless. The object of this network will be to share a cable modem and not resources such as printers, scanners, fax machine, or anything else.
As such i have 1 computer now w/ the cable modem that runs winXp home, and a new pc is coming (will be the main box) that will most likely run winXp of some variation.
Could someone please list the parts that i need to configure a network between 2 winXp systems so that the cable internet is shared.
Now i would also like to have control as to how much of the connection will go per computer if that is all possible (i.e. my main system gets 75% of the connection and the other ocmputer gets 25%)...
If anyone has links to guides on how to set up the wireless network that would be appreciated as well.
Thank you everyone!
