newbie S VIDEO problem

HI Guys,

Just bought a RF Modulator from radio shack to take S Video feed from my LAppy ( Compaq EVO N610C , ATI MBILITY RADEON 7500) and pass it to my TV . All my efforts to do this have failed . And usually when everything fails i turn to anandtech .. So guys help me setup S Video with my compaq .. waiting eagerly for the responses ...

make sure svideo plug is 6 pin, set TV to AV and than select output to TV.... I remember, some of those laptops would only output what's on media player until set up correctly
