i got a promise fasttrak 100, have a 20gb and a 15 gb ibm..
attempting dual booting as i am now.. but its not working
i bootdiskked to win98se, did setup, copied and restarted. now, after escd and post, it hangs. i think its because it cant read the MBR or something with the card.. any help? thanks.
shawn. oh. my hd tach reading seem low. perhaps i should redefine before continuing.. i set the chunk size to 16kb. perhaps that was too high... =)
11.2 ms. seek <- slow ass
73.9 read burst. <- too low
20% cpu <- too high.
i think its too low. should set chunk size to 32 or 64.. comments?
