Here is what I have:
Epox 8k7a+ mobo
AMD TBird 1.33 ghz, AYHJA, with the 9xxxxxxxx as the second line, and the 22nd week CPU.
Crucial PC2100 256mb ram (2)
GeForce2 Pro 4.5ns DDR 64 megs video card
Those are my basic components.. I plan on running a RAID 0 system (2 30 GIG maxtor drives) and also have a adaptec SCSI 2940AU card (PCI).
Now, how do I overclock? I have read that you get better performance by upping the FSB. How is this done? In the manual, I only see two choices.. to either put the bus @ 133 or 100 via JCLK1 for the CPU clock speed. I set it to 2-3, 133 mhz for the CPU for now.
Then there is the multipler that you can set between 5-12. What options do I have? I have read I can put my DDR adjust (JP3) all the way to 2.9 safely.. so does that mean I would put JP3 to 5-10, which would be +0.4? This would be adding 2.5 + 0.4? Is this correct?
How about the CPU Vcore adjust? BTW, I have the CAK38 GlobalWin Heatsink/Fan.
Please advise in what increments I should up the speeds and which in particular / thanks in advance!
