Newbie Question on Good Generic Desktop Sites

Hi Group --

I admire the rest of the group for being able to put these things together. I used to be a EE (now sales), and I tell ya, it's beyond my ken. You really got to keep up on it to make sure that you're not making a mistake.

Anyway, my question. I want to go ahead and buy a preconfigured system from a one-stop shop. I want a good value (who doesn't), with main emphasis on gaming (i.e., good game board, good motherboard, etc.). Probably the Athalon XP family.

Any recommendations for websites? I live in CA, so a non-CA company (no sales tax) would be nice too.

Bad plan. Alienware still uses the AMD 760 chipset. Cyberpower System and GamePC are your best bets.

Go to resellerratings.com and check out alienware, horror stories galore. Looks like they have gone downhill!

Thanks! The Cyberpower site is the one that I was looking for. After briefly exploring both sites (Cyberpower and GamePC), it looked like Cyberpower had the most competitive prices for all-under-one-roof sorts of deals (Athlon).
