Newbie Question on Ethernet to USB 3

I have no idea if this is possible but can't find anything that seems to do this. I want to run Ethernet from my laptop about 75 feet to a telescope observatory where I need to connect both Ethernet and usb 3 devices. Any idea on if and how this can be done?

I think we would need to know more about what you want to do at the telescope end of this setup. Searching Google for USB to ethernet adapters finds a number of items that may help you if all you need is one or the other. If it's more complex, the easiest solution may be to set up an inexpensve slave computer/station at the telescope end that can link to your network via ethernet and has USB ports to serve your devices at that end.

Hope that helps. 🙂

Here are the details. At the telescope, I have a telescope controller, a computerized focuser and several varieties of cameras. I can use Ethernet to talk to the telescope controller, focuser and one of the cameras. The other cameras are USB 2 or 3. I would like to be able to connect to this variety of devices from my laptop in the house say 75 feet away.

Thanks!~

A small computer at the telescope that runs the telescope and the cameras would probably be the simplest option. Then remotely connect to that computer from your main computer inside.
