Hello everyone! :)

Sort of a newbie question: What do I need to erase a hard drive, and what's the best way to do it? I have a couple of old hard drives (3 and 20 Gigs, both 5400 rpm) that I would like to erase, but have no idea on how to do it. Since building my first rig (click below for specs!), I have an old pc around that I can use to perform the "erasure" should one be needed. Any suggestions or walkthroughs would be great!

Boot up using a windows 98 boot disk. Then at the command prompt type "format x:\" without the quotes where x is the letter of the drive you wish to erase. If there are multiple partitions then there will be multiple drives on each hard drive. To check partition information, at the command prompt, type "fdisk" without the quotes. Hope this helps.
