Newbie Question - How to change FSB on A7N8X Deluxe?

I'm sorry that this question has been asked so many times but I can't find an answer. I've set the on board jumper to 133/166MHz FSB and put my 333MHz FSB 2600+ onto it. In BIOS I can only adjust the FSB at 100/133/166. So how do I get the 1MHz increment to 211MHz FSB?

Set Memory timings and everything else in the menu to user defined or manual... I forget the exact setting but its one of them.

Just to make sure, is this a new A7N8X? The older ones (before PCB rev 1.04) didn't support the 333 MHz FSB. Assuming that you have a 1.04 rev (or later? - the revision will be labelled on the motherboard somewhere), do you have the latest (or a later) BIOS? One of the flashes I did to another ASUS board added support for the 333 MHz FSB. According to ASUS at this link for your MB & CPU, the latest BIOS has only been out about 3 weeks, so you may not be current. It also says you must have at least BIOS 1001C, but generally you would want to go with the latest.

Get the 1003 uber bios from nforcer's HQ forum.

then you will have the 1 mhz increments.

warning: you probably will not get over 185 mhz if you have a 1.04 or a 1.06.

<- a7n8x dlx also.

Yes they did, all NForce 2 MBs support 333. I beleive you mean 400FSB, in which only PCB rev 2.0 or higher supports.

No, I really meant 333 MHz FSB. If you go to this page at ASUS then Query by Motherboard, select Socket A(462) for CPU socket type and finally A7N8X Deluxe, it states that the 333 MHz FSB has only been supported since PCB 1.04 (and BIOS 1001C or 1002 depending on which CPU is being used). Since NForce2 M/Bs came out before the Bartons, it's not surprizing that FSB 333 MHz wasn't supported on all. I don't have any reason to think ASUS doesn't know what they are saying about their own motherboards.
