ok....this is a newbie question but i just finished building my new system. everything is working fine so far.....but how do i copy everything from 1 HD to another. I dont want to waste time installing all the software and everything. Can someone help me ?

nm....i think that i will install everything from the starting....got one more question. my mobo comes with Raid and i have 3 ide devices. CD-RW drive, DVD drive and HD. i will be putting 2 of these on IDE master. What would you put on raid , HD or cd-rw or dvd ?

THanks

Definately the HD on raid..... this is the only way to take advantage of the ATA100 speed on some mobos.......................and make sure you are using a ATA66/100/133 compliant cable.

Maxtor has a good program called maxblast, available for download on their website. It allows you to partition and make exact copies of new hardrives.
