Ok, I know my thread title is horrible, so here goes:

I have a monitor with a default resolution of 1920x1200. I want to run the game at a lower resolution than this to get a better framerate, however, when I lower the resolution, I get a picture that doesn't fit my monitor. Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't their a way to run at a lower lower res but still have it "fill" the screen? (and yes, I know that essentially this is just doubling the pixels, but I feel like when I played Strarcraft 2, this method worked.

TIA!

There's a setting enabled somewhere (vid card settings maybe?) to keep the resolution at a 1:1 ratio.

You want to find that option and disable it, thus allowing your video card to fill your screen with a lower resolution.

thank you! I have a GeForce and the setting is in the NVIDIA Control Panel, Display Area --- Adjust desktop size and position:

When using a resolution lower than my display's native resolution, use NVIDIA scaling.

thanks for the help!!!!
