Newbie question about Voltage

I have a question about my Vcore voltage...

is this something that is set within the CPU or is this a mobo setting...

I had a warning from my bios and it looked like it was trying to tell me that the voltage was set too low??

I have a PII 450 with a voltage reading of 2.048 for the Vcore
and a Duron 600 Vcore reads 1.5....

what is the deal with these readings...

Please explain!

Not sure about the amd,but the default for the p2 is 2vlts.In Sandra,all my mo/bos read different(other than stock or default)voltages,like 2.048 for 2 vlts.
