newbie question about antec 1030

I just got a new Enermax FS-710 (Antec 1030) and wasn't sure about some of the pieces that came with it. There are these 2 slats of 4 plastic and metal plates. They are in between the size of drive bay covers and the little rear slot covers. They are plastic with holes punched in it and a metal clip thingy on the end (such technical terms i know). I was hoping someone could tell me what they are used for.

Also I am going to be assembling my PC from scratch for the first time. I was wondering if there were any guides that could help make sure I get everything plugged in and such or advice on drive placement.

Also, where can I get that thin black filter foam to put in front of the fan intake?

If I understand what you're describing, those are the side slide clips for your 5 1/4 drives (cdrw, cd-rom, DVD drive) you attach one to each side and when you slide the drive in, they lock into the case, depress them and they quick release the drive to remove..pretty slick.
