How would I take off a face plate off a DVD/CD/Floppy? I am afriad of just pulling it off to hard and thus breaking it. Theres no switch or something is there?

There should be notches on all four sides of the drive
release them and carefully take the plate off.
Of course you got to take the drive out of your PC first.

I ruined a customer's CD-RW drive at work experience when I pulled off the cover without pressing in any clips or buttons so you probably shouldn't just pull it off...
