I basically plan to use this computer for doing Photoshop and Illustrator work, also 3D modeling. I want to be able run an occasional game, (World of Warcraft). I was looking at an 800XL GPU but, I think the 6600Gt will be fine, because I want to run dual monitors, and going better than 6600GT with 2 DVI outputs blows my budget. Down the road I would like to take advantage of SLI once it becomes more mainstream.

My budget is $1,500USD, that includes the monitor, input devices and software...

Any problems I may run into with this build? Any suggestions?

I personally think that getting an X800XL now would be a better idea. You can save money going with a non-SLI motherboard and you'll be able to get away with a cheaper powersupply and use the money towards a single faster card.

Would a $300 X800XL with dual DVI really blow your budget? If you saved $50 on the motherboard and a little bit on the powersupply it wouldn't be that much more.

You could also bump the CPU down to a 3000+ and not take much of a performance hit.

That wouldn't help you much in the photoshop department, but it would certainly help you out with gaming... and possibly rendering work, I'm not so sure about that though.
