My friends and are moving into an apartment in a month and we have four computers that we are going to want hooked up to the net by either DSL or Cable. There might be a fifth computer that would be hooked up to our TV and stereo and what not, this is not necessarily going to have to be connected to the net but I am going to want the other computers to see it and it to see other computers.
I have a four port hub already and I think I need to get a router. The question I have is could I get a four port router and use the hub to connect all five computers together? Or isn't it worth the hassle and I should just drop the extra $30 - $50 and by a 8 port router?
