i have a amd t-bird 1.4ghz system and it's been getting really hot lately, high 50's C for the system and a few case fans just broke as well... what are some suggestions on type of case fans?? right now i have 80mm sleeve bearing ones... whats the difference between sleeve and ball bearing?? what would be the best case fans to get, sound isnt a problem just want it as cool as possible inside.. what would also be a good heatsink/fan for my amd t-bird 1.4 ghz?

how hard is it to install a new heatsink and fan? would i have to use thermal paste? i have never done this before..

thanks

oops i missed the second part of your question

if you want a quiet but very powerfully heatsink/fan i would suggest the slk800 or slk900 (by thermalright)

and its very easy to replace a hsf... once you pull off the old hsf, then just wipe off the old thermal compound. then put a little (very little) dab of new thermal compound on the cpu core. use something to spread it out, something with a flat edge like a credit card. then install the hsf following the instructions that come with it
