My first post. This is an AMAZING site!
My kitchen TV died, and I want to replace it with a SageTV Client machine. I would like to build this into the smallest form possible. It doesn't need alot of general processing power, but does need whatever the required juice is for watching SageTV High Def content.
My needs are pretty basic (low-end by today's standards): I would like it to have gigabyte lan capabilities. I'll be driving a touch screen monitor (to replace the tv) so need a on board graphics (VGA connector) and serial port, only need stereo output, single local hard disk, and would like a mini-sized board to make it as small a footprint as possible. I will be utilizing the on board graphics for SageTV viewing so I can use a low profile case.
So... What do you gurus suggest I look at?
