Newbie needs help networking SGI (IRIX) to Win98

I just bought a used Indy and have been desperately trying to network it to my PC. I can use either system to ping the other successfully, but I'm not able to find the Indy's shared resources on the PC or mount the PC drives using NFS on the SGI. Can someone please give me advice or point me to a decent online resource? I have searched the techpubs and elsewhere to no avail.
Thanks so much,
Jason

A short term fix would be to use FTP to transfer files between the computers. Otherwise, you will need to install software on one of the machines so that you can mount drives. This can either be NFS software for the PC, or something like Samba for the SGI box.
