I am planning to overclock my new 1ghz amd tbird.
I was wondering if i should get a combo of
1) Artic Compound, FOP32(not FOP38 because of pressure), and Copper
Shim for Tbird.
or
2) If I get FOP32, will I need the copper shim?
and
3) Do I need artic compound or can i use fop32 pad and copper shim?

ANY ADVICE?
Please help.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>FOP32(not FOP38 because of pressure>>>>>>>>> the FOP-32 and 38 are the same heatsink , the 38 having the delta 7000 rpm fan and the 32 a 4700rpm fan. i scraped the pad off of my FOP-32 and used thermal compound , im using a shim , however its on an intel celly2 566.

Techie333, i got exactly the same stuff: FOP32-1, arctic silver, and the shim. I use them all, while scrapped the pad included with FOP32-1. Some people suggest me NOT to use the shim and see if there's a temp difference. I use the shim for peace of mind.
