I need a case for a 1ghz amd t-bird and asus a7v133 mobo. I want to overclock 1ghz to around 1.2ghz.....im set with the fans and heatsinks and all, but my problem is I don't know which case to get. I'm sure I need at least a 300W supply or do I? (I'm going to use geforce2 or radeon, 128mb ram, etc.)

Also, I don't want to overpay(under $100 with shipping). Any good deals?

www.casedepot.com has some nice cases
I like the one that looks like the AlienWare ones with a hydraulic door on the front. Not sure how good it is for cooling.
I've got a couple of InWin 500's here, for Linux boxes. They are pretty good. Not enough cooling spots, but I guess I've been spoiled by the SuperMicro 750 :).
300W probably will be sufficient.

What do you guys think abut the Antec KS282 + 300W PSU? I am just starting to plan my system, and am probably going with a 1 Ghz T-bird, don't know what mobo (trying hard to avoid VIA), but want it cool and roomy. I have a raincheck for the KS282 for $60 that expires next week. Should I go ahead and get it or let my raincheck expire? Will whatever mobo that's compatible with the T-bird fit nicely?

Thanks

The KS282 is a nice, reasonably-priced case. I have my dual P3 system in a KS282, and am happy with the case. It's sturdier and much nicer than the oft-mentioned Enlight 7237, IMHO.

I like the Enlight 7237 myself. It's reasonably priced, roomy to work in and great for modding.

I would have to throw .02 and say the Fong kai 320....it has a special vent that draws heat right off your processor, its a normal sized case, but supports big fans 1 front, 1 rear, with the duct over it.....Rated excellent....

Case

this place is probably the best place to get your case.....

I like the Fong Kai 320. I bought it because it came highly praised by Anandtech and I have had no complaints. And my case temperature stays a cool 30 C thanks to that vent over the processor.
