Hi there,

I'm using a 40GB hard disk and I partitioned it to C: and D:. The thing is I'm currently using Win98 on my C:, got some applications on D: as well. IF I would liketo install WinXP Pro into D:, do I need to format it first, or just run the disk installation to D:? Does it matter? Please advise.

You will not have to format to install XP on your D:\ drive. It should give you the option to install it to any partition already created without destroying said partition.
