The questions:
1) Has anyone ever compared performance of DDR with ECC vs. without ECC? I've seen old usenet threads talking about the hit with PC133 SDRAM, but no discussions with respect to DDR.
2) Same question for RDRAM: performance hit for ECC?
3) CAS Latency: There's a whitepaper on the Mushkin site that seems to claim that CAS latency doesn't matter as much for DDR (as compared to older SDRAM such as PC133). Yet from what I've gathered reading the Anandtech threads, folks still place much stock in this parameter. So is it important?
