I've got an Abit 135 Mobo, E2140 processor, 4GB DDR2 667 RAM & a ZEROtherm BTF90 CPU Cooler (supposedly a good one). I tried overclocking my E2140 processor from 1.6Ghz to 2.6Ghz and the computer wouldn't boot. I had to pull the CMOS battery to reset the computer, then it was able to boot.
Can anyone provide directions on how to properly overclock this processor (I assume through the BIOS) or provide a link(s) to past threads discussing this topic. I keep seeing that people are overclocking the E2140 to anywhere from 2.8 to 3.4 Ghz. My goal is to get to 3.0 Ghz, but I'd accept 2.6Ghz or higher.
